Tier 1 behaviours are any behaviours that should be dealt with at a classroom level.

​The first step in setting a calm environment is setting classroom expectations with your class.

You should also be getting to know your students. This will hopefully help to assist you in planning and for learning the best way to engage with them and teach them.
