Attendance process
Early Years

Attendance officer contacts home to follow up absence

If absence is greater than 9 days, Attendance officer reports to classroom teacher to create an ALP (LT is cc’ed)

ALP uploaded to Compass and sent on Teams or via email to families.
Junior Years 5 and 6

Attendance officer contacts home to follow up absence
-
If absence is greater than 9 days, Attendance officer reports to classroom teacher to create an ALP (LT is cc’ed)
-
ALP uploaded to Compass and sent on Teams or via email to families.
Year 7-12
-
Attendance officer contacts home to follow up absence
-
If absence is greater than 9 days, Attendance officer reports to TL to create an ALP (SM is cc’ed)
-
TL may have to liaise with classroom teachers to gain specific information of work
-
ALP uploaded to Compass and sent on Teams or via email to families.

These students are then identified/flagged by % or days and then if needed, an ALP is created

Student manager reports to classroom teacher to create an ALP (LT is cc’ed)

Ranges for interventions:
95-100% no intervention
< 94% Classroom teachers will make contact home via phone. If contact is unable to be made, then a letter will be emailed/sent home.
< 70% TLs/ Student managers will make contact home
< 60% LTs to contact home
7-12
Ranges for interventions:
