TEACHER FEEDBACK
Comments in this section are student-centred and must report about students’ progress and achievement in relation to Common Assessment Tasks. They are not intended to comment on what teachers have taught or what the subject content or activities were.
At VCE, a comment can be made about students not achieving a satisfactory level of understanding for Outcomes. This should only be used if students have been provided multiple attempts to achieve the satisfactory result and parents are fully informed.

In this section there must be reference to some of the learning behaviours from the GPA that have helped the student achieve their learning outcomes.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Comments in this section are student-centred and must report about students’ area for continued growth and improvement. Comments should come from the Common Assessment Task / School Assessed Task rubrics and assessment criteria and mention the sequence of learning achieved.
The areas for improvement comment should focus on how the student will achieve the skills, concepts or knowledge they need to, teachers should adapt any comments they need to make it clear.

SAC Comments before a re-sit
Teacher Feedback
If a student requires a re-sit, please use the comment below when a student requires a SAC re-sit in the 'Teacher Feedback' section of your learning task. This comment can be found on Compass in the Whole School Comment bank.
Example
{firstName} has not been able to demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of the outcome and will require to complete a SAC re-sit.
Area for Improvement
Ensure you provide a detailed Areas for Improvement comment based off the results of the marking guide.
SAC Comments after a re-sit
Teacher Feedback
Once a student has completed a re-sit please use the comment below when a student has completed a SAC re-sit satisfactorily. Please insert this comment into the Learning Task in the 'Teacher Feedback' section.
Example
{firstName} was able to satisfactorily demonstrate {hisher} understanding of the key knowledge and skills for the outcome. {firstName}'s previous grade of Non-Satisfactory has now been changed to Satisfactory.
Ensure you change the 'N' result for the learning task to an 'S' result.
